Exclusive self-catering accommodation on the water

We offer self-catering accommodation on the water. The whole facility is booked as one and price depends on number of guests in your group. You will have exclusive access to the facility with no other guests. Thatch and locally occurring rocks and stone was used as building material and features two separate buildings.

Both buildings are in an idyllic setting with a view of the river and the forest. It takes only ten steps to reach the fresh, crisp water for a refreshing swim and to catch a bass, all in your own untouched private river.

Guests that does not have time to shop for ingredients beforehand may make use of our

cook your own breakfast, dinner baskets or snack platters. Advance booking is essential.

Private Cottage - Moon Stone (Built with stone and thatch)

The rustic yet luxurious thatched cottage (30m2) is separate and next to the general entertainment area (Lapa). It features a queen size bed with feather duvet, electric blanket, ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom including a free-standing bath overlooking the clear water and the willow trees. It also features a bar fridge with coffee/tea making facilities and a fireplace.

Loft (Garnet) (Situated in thatched stone communal entertainment area - Semi-private)

The general entertainment area (Lapa) features a semi-private loft with a double bed, couch, hairdryer, electric blanket and fan. This room is available to guests 3 and 4 in your group. Other guests may make use of the sleeper couch and mattresses.

Glamping (Sapphire, Amethyst and Emerald)

Not your traditional way of camping.

Experience the outdoorsy feeling sleeping in a canvas tent in nature but with all the luxuries you would require overlooking the trees and the water. The tents will feature either a queen size bed or two single beds (additional beds available for children/additional guests)

Amenities will include soft linen, crisp towels, electric blanket, fan, hairdryer and WIFI. Guests will have access to the communal entertainment are with a view on the water. Fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities. Guests staying in the tents will form part of the main group and separate groups will not be accommodated. Therefore you will be assured of privacy.

The three canvas tents shares their own private bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.

The tents offers accommodation for 6 guests. (Sapphire features a queen bed and Amethyst and Emerald 2x single beds each)
